Telecom Hardware Security Modules & 5G SA Subscriber Privacy
Deploying dedicated carrier-grade cryptographic hardware enclaves for mobile network operators, 5G core UDM/SIDF subscriber privacy, and automated eSIM remote profile generation.
TelecomHSM 5G Core Security Architecture
Cryptographic Enclave: Telecom Cryptographic Core — 5G SA Carrier-Grade Enclave
Hardware Security Nodes & Co-Processors
- 3GPP SIDF SUCI De-Concealer
- 5G AKA Authentication Vector Core
- GSMA SM-DP+ eSIM Profile Vault
- 5G Network Slicing Token Engine
- Carrier High-Availability Sync Mesh
Architectural Layers & Silicon Defenses
- Layer 1: Carrier-Grade NEBS Level 3 Hardware Enclosure (FIPS 140-3 L4 / Dual-Redundant DC Power): Physically protecting the telecom operator master secret keys (K) and Home Network Private Keys (HN-PK).
- Layer 2: 3GPP 5G AKA & ECIES Cryptographic Core (Hardware MILENAGE / TUAK / ECIES Pipeline): De-concealing SUCIs and generating 5G AKA authentication vectors (RAND, AUTN, XRES*, K_AUSF) in under 8ms.
- Layer 3: eSIM Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) Engine (GSMA SGP.22 (Consumer) / SGP.32 (IoT)): Encrypting mobile operator profiles and issuing cryptographically bound Bound Profile Packages (BPP).
- Layer 4: Service-Based Architecture (SBA) Gateway (HTTP/2 REST / OpenAPI 3.0 / mTLS Core): Connecting to 5G Unified Data Management (UDM) and Subscription Identifier De-concealing Functions (SIDF).
Cryptographic Telemetry & Compliance: 150,000/s (SUCI De-Concealment Rate) | < 8 ms (5G AKA Vector Generation) | 99.9999% (Carrier Six-Nines Availability) | GSMA SAS (Certified eSIM Security)
Protecting Billions of Connected Subscribers at Carrier Scale
In legacy 2G/3G/4G networks, unencrypted subscriber identities (IMSI) were broadcast over the air, enabling IMSI-catcher tracking and cellular surveillance. 5G Standalone solves this by encrypting identities into Subscription Concealed Identifiers (SUCI). TelecomHSM provides mobile operators with certified hardware modules that decrypt SUCIs, authenticate subscriber SIM credentials, and issue remote eSIM profiles at wire speed.
